چکیده

In the field of co-simulation, the construction of a bridge between different simulators and the solution of problems like synchronization and data translation are some of the main challenges. This paper discusses the advantages of the HLA (High Level Architecture) standard to solve these problems and presents a generic architecture to support environments for geographically distributed co-simulation, called Distributed Cosimulation Backbone (DCB), which is based on the HLA. This architecture is very flexible and does not enforce code modifications to the simulators to be integrated into

A co-simulation framework for design of time-triggered automotive cyber physical systems

Designing cyber-physical systems (CPS) is challenging due to the tight interactions between software, network/platform, and physical components. Automotive control system is a typical CPS example and often designed based on a time-triggered paradigm. In this paper, a co-simulation framework that considers interacting CPS components for assisting time-triggered automotive CPS design is proposed....

Dissipative Particle Dynamics simulation hydrated Nafion EW 1200 as fuel cell membrane in nanoscopic scale

The microphase separation of hydrated perfluorinated sulfonic acid membrane Nafion was investigated using Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD). The nafion as a polymer was modelled by connecting coarse grained beads which corresponds to the hydrophobic backbone of polytetrafluoroethylene and perfluorinated side chains terminated by hydrophilic end particles of sulfonic acid groups [1, 2]. Each f...

Seamless Integration of Heterogeneous Components in a Distributed Simulation Infrastructure

The utilization of simulation in the design of systems combining different parts (heterogeneous systems) contributes with the validation, verification, and observation of the behavior of these parts (individually) and of the cooperation between them. The differences between the parts (elements) that compose the model of representation (of a system) make these tasks more complex due to three mai...

Loop problem in proteins: Developments on Monte Carlo simulated annealing approach

Calculations of loop segments in bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor starting from random conformations are more efficient, reproducible, and reliable due to several program enhancements. Monte Carlo simulated annealing (MCSA) calculations of a five-residue a-helix N-terminus segment (H5) and @-strand segment (B5) in this study are compared to the corresponding loop calculations in our previous...
